AsyncKeys 1.5 - AsyncKeys! is a utility which
displays a keystroke or key
combination’s exact keyboard
reference number and its ASCII
equivalent. The name
“AsyncKeys!” comes from
“Asynchronous keyboard
reading,” which is the ability
of the computer to read the
status of a pressed key
without waiting for it to
generate a “keyDown” event.
Note that if you change the
layout of your keyboard (e.g.
from “U.S.” to “French”) the
ASCII character may change,
but the keyboard reference
number will not.
